Q: Is there a down payment or deposit required?

A: No, and remember we pay your doctor upfront so no need to worry about doctor’s bills after the procedure, only your planned payments with Incred.

Q: What interest do you charge?

A: Interest is linked to the prime rate and will differ based on your risk profile. Interest is charged at anywhere from 18%-26% per annum.

Q: Over how many months can I pay my loan back?

A: Instalments can start from 6 months up to 36 months.

Q: What if I am unable to repay the loan as a result of death, disablement or retrenchment?

A: Your loan will be secured by a credit life insurance policy that covers death, disablement and retrenchment. You may choose to have us arrange this for you or alternatively you may arrange your own policy, but it is necessary to ensure you have this cover.

Q: Where can I find a good, reliable surgeon in South Africa?

A: We recommend you speak to friends and family or even to your GP, who will be able to refer you to a practitioner that is suitable for you before making any decisions. Also make sure your surgeon/practitioner is registered with at least one professional body. You are entitled to contact the professional body concerned to confirm this.

Q: How safe is my information in terms of confidentiality?

A: Incred is a registered and ethical credit provider. We will not disclose any of your personal information to any unauthorised third parties.

Q: Can I be told I'm too young to have surgery?

A: Your well-being as a patient is of main concern and so, should you be told you are too young to have a procedure; this is solely in your best interest. Certain cosmetic procedures are rendered pointless if the patient’s body is still expected to grow and so a surgeon will make this apparent if this is a concern.

Q: What pre-surgery preparations should I make?

A: Find out all the necessary information from your doctor to ensure you follow the correct procedures and practices leading up to your surgery. Remember to always be aware of any medicinal allergies and to disclose these to your surgeon.

Q: What can I do to exercise necessary care post my procedure?

A: In order to achieve optimum results from your procedure ensure you take the time allocated for recovery, follow the instructions on take home medication and adhere to any other recommendations from your doctor.
