What is a Brow Lift?

A brow lift is commonly known as a forehead lift. This procedure reduces the severity of frown lines or creases on the forehead and often the sagging lines that form between the eyebrows. The procedure lifts the eyebrows while reducing the creases in the skin, which results in a more youthful and fresh look.

The Procedure

Two types of brow surgery are available. One via an endoscope, where small, inconspicuous incisions are made near the temple in order to lift the forehead and reduce any creases or wrinkles that may also appear near the eyes and in the brow area. The other procedure is known as the coronal brow lift, where an incision is made in the scalp hair bearing area from ear to ear. The recovery time from this procedure is often longer than the endoscopic procedure because of the incision size. The results will be long lasting and the procedure is quite common. Speak to your doctor to determine which procedure best suits you.

Should I do it?

This procedure will help you to reduce the frown lines on your face, creating a more ‘welcoming look’. It is a procedure that is recommended above others as it is very minor and the results are often amazing, simple and so effective. The scarring is hidden in the hair bearing area of the scalp and this means that often nobody will even be able to tell that you had surgery to achieve this. You should consult your doctor if you are considering this procedure. You should consult your doctor if you are considering this procedure.
